We find it odd that FuckedWeblog fails to note the demise of it’s predecessor, The Dark Ages – perhaps the answer to our question is, ultimately, nobody.
On the one hand, we feel it is unfortunate that FW fails to fully realize it’s parody potential by merely reporting (and not predicting) the demise of weblogs. On the other hand, we were relieved to not find ourselves named as an imminent casualty of the weblog wring-out. We’d like to apologize for our dereliction of meta-duty, and promise to do better. We’d like to, but we aren’t sure it’s going to happen.
