Since seeing it in Wired, I’ve been anxiously awaiting the release of the Sid Caesar Collection on DVD. The site has clips, photos and bios, my favorite of which is

Carl Reiner – Created "The Dick Van Dyke Show" and director Rob Reiner. He has directed many films including, "The Jerk," "Oh God," "All of Me," and "The Man With Two Brains."

I think Your Show of Shows had the greatest assemblage of comic talent *ever* – and that includes the casts of Porky’s and Porky’s II. Whenever I think that I’m getting to silly or too out there, I think about Sid Caesar and try to push it one more level.       Well, not really… but it sounded good, right?
