Inside Matt
I was all set to write a post about how I thought that Pyra was the Steppenwolf Theater of SOMA because I was so inspired by their passion for their craft and their exhortations of “getting the web” (of course, I’ve always seen Meg as a dynamic Gary Sinese, rather than a more passive Laurie Metcalf, but that’s beside the point) – I was, that is, until I read Matt’s post tonight. Now I can’t get The vision of Matt as Willie Nelson singing “mamma Don’t let your babies grow up to be webgeeks” … Oddly enough, I view my own association with the web as more carnie than grey(matter) laborer… perhaps I should keep my amateur status after all.
