If the purpose of Julian Dibbell’s Portrait Of The Blogger As A Young Man in Feed Magazine was to creep me out about Jorn Barger’s life, it succeeded. If it’s purpose was to convince me to look up the Wunderkammer link that he seemed to have forgotten (I found it through Jorn who linked to it via BoingBoing, which was linked to the actual article at Encyclopaedia Brittanica), well… he succeeded there too. If he was trying to illustrate the general practice of weblogging by profiling one of it’s more well known practitioners… he could have done better. Just my .02.
