More from the vaults. The following excerpts from the 10/4/92 Fountainhead Theatre Company Board of Directors Meeting Minutes illustrate why I am seldom selected asked to record important discussions:
THEATRETALK FROM PEACHES:
Andy “Peaches” F., reported that the play HUNGER, which he and Laurie went to see, bites. However, there was a really cool quote from George Bernard Shaw on the back of the program. I didn’t get a chance to read it, but it had something to do with Fountainhead being a totally great company.
JOBS? WE DON’T NEED NO STINKIN’ JOBS!
Rehearsals will be taking place largely during the day, due to the scheduling considerations of the Space and the Directors. All those auditioning are urged to begin processing their Unemployment forms as soon as possible.
HOW NOW, MCI?
Have your list of friends and family to Andrew so that he can organize Telemarketing sessions to harass them until they come to see PRETTY FIRE. Later, he will turn the list over to Jodie K. who is still trying to offload the FundAmerica memberships she was stuck with when the heads of that company were sent to prison.
BRING ‘EM ON!
Now that we are once again down to our ideal membership number of 12, we are preparing to add to it. In November we will audition prospects with the idea of adding 3 – 4 new associates. God help us…
