Hello all! All is well on this side of the atlantic. I´ve been in Barcelona (pronounced "bar-tha-lona") for a few days, we´ll have limited internet access on this so the updates will be a little less frequent here in Spain.
First off, food here is FREAKIN AWESOME....that´s with a capital FREAKIN. Tapas, cidre (cider), Paella...paella...paella. I think I could live on that dish for the next week. Seafood, steaks, everything is soo fresh. You want sandwiches? Simple jamon or chorizo on a baguette. The breads here are incredible. I just really can´t explain it. (Are you drooling yet?)
As for my accomodations, wait til you see pictures of the view I have when I wake up...staring out from the 16th floor of my friend Sandy´s apartment out to the stark blue of the Mediterranean Sea. Yowza...
Adios!
TC
PS...I´m in Spain, I don´t care if I spelled anything wrong.

Alex did'nt get the directions quite right in Florence...while you are still in the terminal building, stand with your back to the train tracks and exit on the left side of the terminal building. Cross the road immediatlely and turn right. When you get to the main road, make a left. Unfortunately I can't recall the street name but Alex said there's a cinema on the corner. The street the Pensione's located is on Firenza. I think that's the correct spelling and you make a left turn on Firenza about 3 to 4 blocks up. Albergo Merlini should be on your right side approximately half way down the block. As you walk towards the Doumo there are acouple of good resturants on Firenza. To the left of that road off the main street is the market. Lots of things to buy. If you are not too clausterphobic to go to the top of the Doumo for a great view of the city. Enjoy!!

As it happens, we'll be in Barcelona tonight, too. Granted it is a bar in Arizona, but I imagine it is pretty similar. I haven't gotten any care packages of smoked meat yet - what's up with that?
Big Bro T,
Post more comments man! I'm trying to experience other parts of the world through your words. I can't believe you won't be in Italy til your last week. Hopefully I'll be able to read some of your postings before I leave for Italy. BTW, is it safe out there?
Hoof!
It sounds like you're having an amazing time off the shores of the Mediterranean! What’s up with the f401 connection??? Dude we need some pix of your adventures in European delicacies. Your meals sound great and if you can, sneak some chorizo back to LA in your suitcase. Hope the WB is going well out there and give me the scoop when ya get back.
