The More Things Change

Before the weblog, there was a log. Too many years ago, at a job too crappy to believe, I met some very funny people. One of them sought me out while I was in Chicago last week.

Dan is the one who got me the lawfirm job. If it weren’t for him, I’d have probably taken some dead end industry job – with nothing to look forward to but the drudgery of the Hollywood Star Machine.

Mostly, though, I’ll remember Dan for opening my eyes to the wonder that is Grote Reber, father of the radio telescope.
